Occasionally silent due to a transaxle with two motor-generator units, the Corolla Cross Hybrid is being recalled for being too quiet in certain driving scenarios. Toyota Motor North America estimates that approximately 74,000 such vehicles have been sold in the North American market for model years 2023 through 2025.
