21-Years-Owned, 427 Side-Oiler-Powered 1968 Shelby Mustang GT500 Fastback

This 1968 Shelby Mustang GT500 is one of 1,020 fastbacks produced for the model year. It was originally specified in Highland Green with Saddle Décor upholstery, power steering and front disc brakes, the Extra Cooling Package, a tilt-away wheel, a Sport Deck rear seat, an AM radio, and a tachometer. The car is believed to have been retrofitted with a 427ci Side Oiler V8 at some point in the 1970s, and it was refurbished between 2002 and the seller’s purchase in 2005.
