Tesla doesn’t want outsiders to know how many units it delivered for each model, so it groups them into two categories: the Model 3/Y and everything else. However, from time to time, unexpected events reveal the truth that Tesla finds uncomfortable. The latest Cybertruck recall, for instance, revealed that Tesla only sold 173 RWD units during the five months before it was canceled.
