On Wednesday, we reported on a service bulletin that was allegedly sent to Toyota service departments with instructions on rationing motor oil stocks due to an impending shortage. On Thursday, a tipster sent us a copy of a similar bulletin that was distributed to Nissan service departments around the same time. Not only is Nissan facing a motor oil shortage, but it’s going to have to charge more for service as a result of price increases, and just in time for your pre-summer-road-trip tune-up.
