Aprilia MotoGP rider Jorge Martin has been taken to hospital after a crash during a post-race test day in Barcelona, for checks on his elbow and leg.Martin had had five separate crashes across three days of running during the Catalan Grand Prix, and crashed early in the Monday test at Turn 7.Though further details of the crash aren’t yet available, the corner is a tricky, fast, uphill one teeing up an immediate change of direction for Turn 8 – so lends itself to significant incidents.The test was red-flagged for a spell as Martin was attended to on-site before being taken to the circuit medical centre, where he was examined for a prolonged period of time.He has now headed to Dexeus University Hospital – where much of the MotoGP grid goes for …
