This library of Road & Track magazines includes issues published between June 1947 and December 2023/January 2024. A number of the earlier issues are reprints, and a few of the magazines from the earlier years are secured in binders. This library of Road & Track magazines has been in the seller’s possession since 2016 and is now offered at no reserve in Tacoma, Washington.
Road and Track was first published in 1947 with a cover price of 25 cents and, in 1950, the magazine adopted a monthly publication schedule with occasional double issues covering two months. The most contemporary issue in this collection is from December 2023/January 2024.
In 1955, the magazine began using the ampersand in its title. In addition to best-in-segment performance comparisons, Road & Track produced theme-focused issues covering topics including design, motorsports, technology, and the world’s fastest cars.
Over 100 photos of the included magazines are shown in the gallery, and the issues are stored in cardboard boxes. A seller-provided list of contents is shown at the end of the gallery. …
