Kia’s Cheapest Car Could Be Killed By Tougher Emissions Rules

However, the model in question is not the K4 or Seltos, but rather the Picanto, which is sold in markets such as the U.K., where it has been among the brand’s best-sellers.The Picanto is a tiny hatchback well suited to narrow European roads. Given the U.S. market’s preference for larger vehicles, the model was never officially sold in the U.S. Still, it has given buyers in other markets an affordable entry point into the brand, but with Kia reportedly no longer planning a next-generation model, its days appear to be numbered.
