The USPTO has recently published two new Ford patents that concern the Bronco’s open-air driving experience. Published under US 2026/0138425 A1, the first patent features two see-through panels that can slide back and forth.
The foremost panel can slide over the rear panel, and both panels can be slid over the rear cargo area. Neither panel relies on a motorized system, resulting in hassle-free manual operation.
