One More RefreshDespite automakers like Chevrolet moving away from sedans in favor of crossovers and SUVs due to stronger demand in the U.S., Kia continues to compete in the segment with models like the K4 and K5 – and it appears the company plans to keep doing so. According to a report from The Korean Car Blog, the K5 is expected to receive a second facelift for 2027.The publication shared renders of the updated model courtesy of Gotcha Cars. Based on the images, the upcoming K5 could adopt a less aggressive look than the current version, which features sharp lines running from front to rear. The new design also appears boxier and more upright, giving the sedan neater and more mature proportions.
