This 1973 Fiat 124 Abarth Rally is one of an estimated 995 examples produced for homologation in FIA Group 4 competition between 1972 and 1975. Chassis 0063440 was initially registered in Italy and later spent time in Belgium prior to being refurbished and updated to Group 4 specification in the mid-2010s by Perosino Special Cars in Ceresole, Italy. Work involved stripping the bodywork and refinishing it in white with Abarth-style graphics as well as rebuilding the Lampredi inline-four to displace 2.0 liters.
