It was imported to the UK in 2000, and a subsequent refurbishment performed by marque specialist Paul Klatkiewicz of Ducati Technical Services in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, included a repaint in yellow with black stripes along with overhauling its 748cc round-case L-twin, gas-flowing the cylinder heads, boring the cylinders, replacing the speedometer, and installing an electronic ignition module, Conti silencers, and Borrani alloy rims.
