This 1967 Austin-Healey 3000 BJ8 Mk III was completed in November, 1967, and delivered new to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Chassis H-BJ8-U/42836-G later underwent a body-off refurbishment in Canada that involved a repaint as well as rebuilds of the 2.9-liter inline-six and four-speed manual gearbox before being acquired by the seller in 1998 and relocated to Maryland. The car spent time in storage before recommissioning work by Vintage Restorations Limited of Union Bridge, Maryland, in 2024 totaling over $9k that included rebuilds of the dual SU carburetors, replacement of the fuel tank, and installation of Michelin XZX tires.
