This 1962 Austin-Healey 3000 BT7 Mark II four-seat roadster was dispatched in May 1961 to North America, where it was registered as a 1962 model. Chassis HBT7L/13828 is believed to have undergone a multi-year refurbishment following its acquisition by a prior owner in 1989 and was later purchased by the seller on BaT in June 2019. Work since then has involved performing a generator-to-alternator conversion, installing an aluminum radiator, replacing the water and fuel pumps, and more as detailed below. The car is finished in red over red leather upholstery and accompanied by a removable white hardtop and soft top.
