This 1941 Lincoln Continental is the result of a decades-long project that began in 1983 when the car was purchased by its prior owner. In 1985, it was joined in the owner’s collection by another of the 850 Continental coupes produced for the 1941 model year. The project began in earnest in 1988 when an auto body shop started merging the two project cars into one complete vehicle. The work stalled after the death of the car’s owner in the mid-1990s.
