This Ford Model T is a steel-bodied roadster that was built into a land speed racer in the late 1940s by Jim “Jazzy” Nelson and his brother Paul. Jim piloted it to a Class B record of 141.06 mph at El Mirage in 1949, and the car was awarded first in its class at that year’s inaugural Oakland Roadster Show.
