The team over at Motoring Coffee and BaT Local Partner The Motoring Club is back at it with another great Bay Area event: the year’s second running of Cold Start, which will be held on Sunday, April 26, from 8:00am–11:00am. BaT is a sponsor of the morning’s gathering, which will be held at Marina Middle School, and certain of our staffers will be on hand.
Motoring Coffee is the public-facing coffee and retail shop associated with The Motoring Club. Since late 2024, they’ve also hosted Cold Start—a recurring event to bring enthusiasts together beyond the confines of their San Francisco shop.
This particular event will have a bit of an Italian flavor, as the Pacific chapter of the Ferrari Club of North America is providing significant support. Even so, cars, trucks, and bikes of all makes are welcome—don’t let the nationality of your vehicle be a deterrent! If you’d like to bring a vehicle for display, please fill out the organizer’s Google Form.
The Motoring Coffee crew will be serving up drip coffee, cold brew, and matcha to get the crowd moving.

These events tend to draw several hundred cars and healthy crowds of spectators, even in the cold, so we expect nothing less for a fine spring day.
The display area can be accessed via the school’s parking lot entrance on Bay Street. Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis. We hope to see you Sunday morning!
