Rivian is very close to debuting R2 customer deliveries in the coming months, which means final technical details are being worked out. Recent EPA filings revealed that the R2 Launch Edition will feature a battery pack with a usable capacity of 86.8 kWh. This will provide up to 335 miles of EPA range, 5 miles more than Rivian’s initial estimate.
