Examples include the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, named after the Rubicon Trail in California’s Sierra Nevada mountains, and the Ford Bronco Outer Banks, which nods to the Outer Banks in North Carolina.Land Rover, meanwhile, has a new entry with the Defender Sedona Red, which, as the name suggests, references Sedona, Arizona. The limited-edition off-roader adopts a color scheme inspired by the area’s famous red-rock landscapes, whose reddish hue comes from iron-rich sandstone formations.
