Despite reports to the contrary, Jaguar is sticking with an all-electric strategy, and it’s making progress on the production version of the polarizing concept revealed in 2024. The concept was called the Type 00, and internally, the car bears the codename X900, but neither of these names will be used when the 1,000-horsepower luxury car is officially launched. What will that name be? We don’t know yet, but according to a report from Autocar India, Jaguar will confirm the nomenclature of the production vehicle on 12 May. That’s next Tuesday, and it’s possible that Jaguar could reveal additional info to whet the appetites of prospective buyers.
