Both felt completely detached from their road-going counterparts – low, wide, and clearly engineered for nothing but lap times. Carbon fiber everywhere, purpose-built everything.That was exactly the impression I had when I stood in front of the Isuzu Challenge D-Max at the 47th Bangkok International Motor Show. This is Isuzu, a brand most people know for their work trucks, now showing off something that looks like it belongs in a GT paddock.Technically, it’s a race truck. But up close, it feels more like a touring car that just happens to have a bed. The stance is wide, the aero is aggressive, and every detail looks like it serves a purpose. It doesn’t have that concept car vibe – it looks ready to hit the track.
