Ferrari started its electrification journey with the LaFerrari, a V12-powered hypercar whose kinetic energy recuperation system is derived from the Formula 1-spec KERS unit of that era. Since then, Italy’s best-known automaker has ventured into plug-in hybrids with V6 muscle and full-electric vehicles.
