This Type 911/03 flat-six engine was originally produced for a 1971 Porsche 911T, and the top end and Weber carburetors were rebuilt by Dick Elverud, with work completed in April 2025. Dynamometer results from after the work was completed are presented in the gallery. This engine is offered by the seller, a BaT Local Partner, on behalf of the owner at no reserve in Portland, Oregon.
The Type 911/03 flat-six features overhead camshafts, two valves per cylinder, and dry-sump lubrication. The engine has dual Weber 40 IDA 3C carburetors, a cooling fan, a distributor, ignition components, engine tin, and exhaust components.
A serial number is stamped on the engine case.
