Two years after announcing the revival of the Freelander brand, the Chery-JLR joint venture unveiled its first model, the Freelander 8 EREV. The three-row SUV will ride on an 800-volt architecture that supports up to 350 kW peak power, equivalent to a 6C charging rate. The Freelander 8 will go on sale in China in the second half of the year, with overseas markets to follow shortly.
