3/26 Event Coverage:
Round two for 2026 is in the books, folks. Our friends at BaT Local Partner Alara Garage were great hosts, as was the city of Houston—offering perfect Texas spring weather and a near-impossible variety of excellent food to be had.
A week ago today, BaT fans and their cars, trucks, and armor (more on that below) started arriving right on time. Crowd favorites included a red big-brother/little-brother pair of ’80s flat-12 Ferraris, a couple of Texas-sized Lincolns, an impossibly clean FB RX-7, a gaggle of modified Porsche 911s from every generation, a Volvo Duett, and a BMW Isetta 600 (you know, the big Isetta) among many more.
Literally towering over the proceedings was a gorgeous two-tone, lifted, Cummins-powered, first-gen Dodge Ram, though its Biggest Tires crown was unceremoniously usurped by the late but welcome arrival of, naturally, a Daimler Ferret armored car.
As usual, a group of stalwart BaT staffers was on hand to direct parking, answer questions from our community, and of course hand out free event posters, BaT stickers, and other goodies. Be it known: this is often gear you can only get by coming to see us at a BaT Meet-Up! And the staff you meet at any of our events are the same real, live people who make this place run day-in and day-out by way of their hard work in every department at the company.
Ara, Alison, and the whole crew at Alara Garage run a first-class facility housing mbrandonmotorcars and a variety of other automotive businesses in addition to an art gallery and a wine storage facility. We’re proud to call them one of our BaT Local Partners, and you should get in touch with them if you’re in the greater Houston area and need help with storing, maintaining, prepping, and/or selling a car on BaT.

3/19 Update: We’re also looking to connect with BaT Alumni and enthusiasts who regularly service and maintain their own vehicles, and are open to potentially appearing in one of our upcoming video segments! We’re back for round two of our 2026 Meet-Ups, and this time we’re headed to Texas to help usher in the spring! Houston’s wheeled culture runs the whole gamut—supercars, kei cars, prewar elegance, bikes of every sort, Jet Age optimism, sports cars, lowriders, land yachts, and let us not forget: trucks! All are welcome at this Meet-Up, which will be hosted at ALARA Garage (a BaT Local Partner) on March 21 from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Attendance is free for everyone!
The Houston venue boasts an impressive 150,000 square feet of climate-controlled storage with a plethora of enthusiast vehicles tucked away inside. Attendees will be able to spend time inside the facility and take a look at all the good stuff ALARA has stashed away out of the sun.
This will be a casual affair—no registration is required, so just show up, bring a cool vehicle if you have one, and shoot the breeze with hundreds of fellow BaT community members and staff. We’ll be there to welcome you with complimentary refreshments and swag, while supplies last.
We should have plenty of space, but these gatherings do get popular—so please note that parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. We look forward to seeing you there!
