BaT Auction Success Story: jerhofer’s Singh-er 911

This latest Success Story comes to us from BaT member jerhofer, who won this G50 Carrera coupe from SinghMotors in a November 2025 BaT auction:
In November 2025, I won this 51k-mile, all-original 1988 911 Carrera coupe, powered by a 3.2L flat-six backed with the G50 transmission. It was located in Lakeville, Connecticut, a five-minute drive from Lime Rock. The seller was Bobby Singh, whose Porsche business was located in the very same building that Skip Barber had used for his racing school cars.

Bobby sold the car on consignment for an elderly gentleman who had broken his leg (I’ll add that I am an elderly person turning 80 this coming May). The seller was very cooperative. The tires were old, so I ordered and shipped a set of fresh rubber from Tire Rack to Bobby, who mounted and balanced them. He also performed a four-wheel alignmen …
