As part of our ongoing expansion in the UK, a group of BaT staffers—along with BaT President and Co-founder Randy Nonnenberg—will be heading to the second Bicester Scramble of the year, where we’ll be spending time with Sports Purpose, our newest UK Local Partner. Held at Bicester Motion on Sunday, 26 April, the event brings together car enthusiasts for “avenues lined with classic, vintage and modern collector cars, from Austin Sevens to the latest hypercars, and curated displays celebrating the extraordinary,” per the organizer.
Set on the grounds of the former WWII RAF Bicester Bomber Training Station, the 444-acre site was once listed on Historic England’s “At Risk Register.” Today, its meticulously restored buildings form a thriving hub for automotive and aviation businesses, and the historic workshops and hangars come alive with community events like the Scramble.
