Puig to step down as Honda MotoGP team boss

Honda’s factory MotoGP team has announced that team boss Alberto Puig will step down at the end of the 2026 season.Puig, who had held the role since 2018, will instead take up what Honda describes as a “key advisory role” for its racing operation.The move comes against the backdrop of reporting that current Trackhouse Aprilia boss Davide Brivio would be joining in a management and consulting role (though not as team boss).
