This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was owned by Bloomington Gold judge and Corvette collector Vernie Thomas from 1986 to 2007 and is powered by a 427ci V8 with three two-barrel carburetors linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction differential. Thomas refurbished the car and brought it to a 1987 “20-Year Reunion” meet in Bowling Green, Kentucky, where it received “Most Options” recognition, and it was featured in local newspaper articles about Bloomington Gold and Thomas in the early 1990s.
