It’s not uncommon for carmakers to bump the price of the vehicles they sell from one model year to another, as many of the things that go into making them get more expensive as well. To make the price bump a little easier to swallow, these companies usually throw in one or two extras. I’m not sure I can say the same for Subaru and its BRZ.
