The Chevrolet brand’s compact-sized Equinox crossover prepares to enter 2027 with a big change to its name. Previously offered with a continuously variable transmission and an eight-speed automatic, the Chevy and its GMC-branded sibling have switched to said automatic exclusively for the 2027 model year.
