We’re back, albeit a day late, to announce our winner for the second round of this year’s Michelin and BFGoodrich tire giveaway! This week it was a battle between the 1972 MG Midget and the 1966 VW Karmann Ghia project car, but in the end, the Spridget took the win. Congratulations to its new owner, @Niran777!
This “round-arch” MG Midget was refinished in a sporty hue of metallic blue under prior ownership, but besides being a handsomely small roadster, these Spridgets are absolute little boxes of fun. And the seller @dbogey13 wasted no time overhauling the brakes, servicing the clutch, and replacing the steering rack to get it ripping around at its best.
But before @Niran777 goes tossing it around the corners, this one would truly shine with a brand new set of Michelins as the crowning touch!
Congratulations once again to Niran777, and big thanks are due as always to Michelin USA, BFGoodrich, and everyone in the BaT community who voted. Your generous spirit gives us the opportunity to do big things like for BaT community members, and plays a part in keeping some fantastic vehicles on the road.
