1997 Porsche 911 GT2 R Race Car Project

This Porsche 911 GT2 R is one of a reported 10 examples built in 1997 and was first owned by Dutch driver René Snel, who campaigned the car in the 1998 Super Car Cup series, finishing third overall in the season. Following a crash at TT Circuit Assen in August 1999, the car was fitted with a replacement body shell before being driven by Snel in the 2001 Euro GT Series.
