This 1987 Mitsubishi Starion ESI-R was fitted with a twin-turbocharged and intercooled 6G72 DOHC V6 sourced from a Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 as well as a C4 three-speed automatic transmission as part of a 2017 build. The car was subsequently repainted and underwent a second engine overhaul according to the seller, who purchased it in 2022. Work since then has involved installing rebuilt 60mm Garrett turbochargers, rewiring the electrical system, adding MOOKEEH struts with sleeve-over coilovers, and more as detailed below.
