Ex-Ken Block 1978 Ford Escort Mk2 Gymkhana-Spec Drift Car

This 1978 Ford Escort is a Mk2 two-door saloon that was purchased in 2008 by Hoonigan Racing Division founder Ken Block. The car was later converted to left-hand-drive, and it was ultimately built into a drift car for use in Gymkhana Grid competition. Work carried out at Quick Motorsport in Hereford involved reinforcing the chassis, modifying the suspension, and installing a 2.5-liter DOHC Millington Diamond inline-four linked to a Sadev six-speed sequential manual gearbox and a Ford Motorsport 9” rear end.
