This 1975 BMW 3.0 CSL is one of 1,265 homologation specials built between 1971 and 1975 and is #54 of a claimed 57 series II examples produced with a 3.2-liter inline-six and a “Batmobile” body kit. Chassis 4355054 was delivered new in July 1975 to its first owner in Germany before changing hands in September 1986. The car underwent repairs in September 1987 while in the country before being exported to the Netherlands circa 2000 and was later acquired by the current owner in 2002 and brought to the US.
