1972 Chevrolet El Camino EV Conversion

This 1972 Chevrolet El Camino, dubbed the “EV Camino”, was converted to an electric powertrain during a custom build completed in 2022 that also involved smoothing and refinishing the body in black. Power is provided by dual NetGain Hyper 9 motors mounted in tandem and connected to a Torque Trends Torquebox gear-reduction single-speed gearbox, an aluminum driveshaft, and a Thunderbird-sourced 8.8″ differential.
