This 1971 Citroën SM is a European-market example that spent approximately 46 years with a prior owner before being acquired by the seller on BaT in September 2021 as a non-running project. Subsequent work involved rebuilding the car’s triple Weber carburetors, replacing the suspension spheres, and installing 15″ Roues Résine–style aluminum wheels. Finished in metallic gold over brown leather, the fastback coupe is powered by a 2.7-liter Maserati V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and rides on a hydropneumatic suspension.
