This 1969 BMW R69US was purchased by its current owner in 2011. It was previously listed as a sidecar rig on BaT in July 2025, and the sidecar and its mounting hardware have since been removed. Finished in Avus Black with white pinstripes, the motorcycle is powered by an air-cooled 594cc opposed-twin paired with a four-speed transmission. It also has a driveshaft, a dual exhaust system, a leading-axle fork, dual rear shocks, drum brakes, wire-spoke wheels with 18″ alloy rims, and drum brakes as well as a Denfeld saddle, black rubber knee grips, and a center stand. The dual Bing carburetors were rebuilt and tuned in June 2025, at which time the spark plugs were cleaned, the battery was changed, and an oil leak was repaired.
