This 1966 Volkswagen Beetle convertible was purchased by the seller in 1989, and in 1998 it was fitted with a dual-port 1,776cc flat-four and it was refinished in red over tan. The engine was modified with dual Weber 40 IDF carburetors, an Engle 110 camshaft, a counter-weighted crankshaft, a 12-volt electrical system, and big-valve cylinder heads, and its four-speed manual transaxle was overhauled and fitted with a taller fourth gear.
