This 1962 Chevrolet Corvette fuelie was initially sold new by Daniels Motors of Colorado Springs, but was promptly traded back and campaigned by dealer owner Al Daniels in the July 1962 Pikes Peak Hill Climb race, finishing third. The racing equipment was removed, and the family retained the car until 2019, when it was sold and relocated to Florida. Subsequent work involved rebuilding the fuel injection system, distributor, and generator, and replacing the exhaust manifolds, exhaust system, plug wires, spark plugs, fuel tank, fuel sender, and fuel lines.
