This 1956 Volkswagen Beetle Deluxe was originally shipped to Los Angeles in June 1956, and it remained with its original owner in Huntington Beach, California until being purchased by its current owner in 2019. Work two years prior, in 2017, included installing a 1,584cc flat-four, carrying out paint repair work, reupholstering the interior in red leatherette, and replacing the clutch disc, headlights, brake light lens, and brake master cylinder.
