These two consecutive-serial-number 1942 Ford GPWs, chassis 712 and 713, are very early production (VEP) examples that are said to be among the approximately 2,000 built with Willys-style frames. The seller acquired the pair in 1997. Both trucks are finished in olive drab over matching canvas upholstery, and power for each is provided by a replacement flathead inline-four paired with a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
