This 1937 Rudge Special is said to have been found as wall art in a California lodge prior to being refurbished during the late 1980s while under the ownership of the late Rob North, from whom the seller purchased the bike in 2018. Since that time, it has been displayed and recently underwent recommissioning work that included cleaning and sealing the fuel tank, disassembling and cleaning the carburetor, changing the oil, and replacing the spark plug and spark plug wire.
