Those who have placed an order may be pleased to learn that an EPA certification filing shared on Rivian Forums suggests the model could deliver up to 335 miles of range.Five miles may not sound like much in the grand scheme of things, but in an emergency, it could make the difference in reaching a charging station. The 335-mile estimate applies to the R2 Performance equipped with 21-inch all-season tires and an 86.8-kWh battery pack. Range drops to 314 miles with the 20-inch all-terrain tires, though that is still seven miles higher than the initial estimate.
