When we are choosing organizations to partner with, our main criterium is: does the partnership add something of interest or value for the BaT community? In the three years that Michelin North America has been partnered with BaT, they’ve gone above and beyond—awarding dozens of sets of free tires in monthly contests, at BaT events, and through our annual holiday giveaway blitz.
Beyond this, they’ve shown up in person at BaT events, and Kim Barnes from Michelin Classic (herself a collector of some seriously cool and obscure vehicles) has actively assisted users in auction discussions, commenting under the @MichelinClassicTires account, and routinely asks for community input when deciding what new fitments to offer in their product line. They’ve also granted our editorial staff access to their century-deep archive of historical materials.
